Nima Rumba, born Nima Chhiring Lama on May 27, 1974, in Subarnapur, Parsa, Nepal, is a renowned singer, lyricist, musician, and actor. He is celebrated for his contributions to Nepali pop music and his captivating stage presence.
Nima’s musical journey began in the early 1990s when he joined his first band, The Bass, and later formed another band called The Peace. His breakthrough came with the song “Aai Deu Priya,” which won second place in the Rara Nepali Pop Music competition in 1992. This success led to his first solo song, “Jadaichu Tadha Tadha,” released in 1993.
Over the years, Nima has released several popular albums, including “Suna Suna” (1994), “Memories” (1996), “Huri Batas” (2000), “Lolita” (2002), “Faith” (2004), “Pride” (2006), and “Rangau Ki Ma” (2011). Some of his well-known songs include “Block Hill,” “Huri Bataas,” “Samjhera Ti din Haru,” “Aau Aauna,” and “Preeti Basyo.”
