Rachana Rimal, born on August 13, 2002, in Tehrathum, Nepal, is a prominent Nepali singer renowned for her melodious voice and versatility across various genres. Her family relocated to Jhapa during her infancy, where she began her musical journey by singing bhajans at local events. Her early participation in regional competitions showcased her talent, earning her recognition and accolades.
Rimal gained national prominence as a contestant on the third season of “Nepal Idol” in 2019, where she secured a spot in the top 8 and set a record by being the highest-voted contestant three times consecutively.
Following her success on the show, she released several popular songs, including “Photo Firimma,” “Unko Preeti,” “Paani Chhamkine,” and “Mineral Water,” which resonated with a wide audience and solidified her position in the Nepali music industry.
