Born on June 10, 2006, in Pokhara, Nepal, Shreejal Bikram Bhandari, better known as Shreego, is a young and talented singer, songwriter, influencer, and cinematographer. A devout Christian, Shreego’s musical journey began in church, where he honed his singing skills inspired by his grandmother, a performer and composer of ritual music at weekly masses.

During his middle school years, Shreego worked as a photographer for local weddings and events. At one such event, he was captivated by a performance from the legendary rock band Albatross. This life-changing moment ignited his passion for music and a desire to take center stage like the performers he admired.

Shreego’s debut single, Banda Kotha, was a heartfelt creation inspired by the loss of his beloved pet. The song, with its romantic tweaks, was self-produced, featuring Shreego as the cinematographer, director, and editor. The video starred his sister Shreya and his friend Adeep and garnered attention, thanks to the following he had built through covers and vlogs.

Although Shreego began creating content only in 2020, his YouTube channel now boasts approximately 385,000 subscribers. However, it was his third single, Harayeko Maya, that catapulted him to fame. Produced by his cousin Sanjal Bhandari (B2) of Gain Studios, the track featured influencer Wiffeyy (Shreya Lama) and became an overnight sensation with over 16 million views.

Following this success, Shreego released other acclaimed singles like Khoj (19 million plays) and Maya Marideu (13 million views). He later collaborated with B2 to create acoustic live versions of his hits at Studio 5150. His subsequent singles, Abhinaya, Kina Timro Huna Sakina, and Mayalu, further cemented his reputation as a versatile artist.

In May 2024, Shreego dropped his ninth single, Duri. Written and composed by him, the song was arranged and produced by B2 with a lyrics video curated by Sandeep Tiwari. This melancholic pop ballad captures the emotional turmoil of lovers trying to maintain a long-distance relationship while grappling with the fear of separation and uncertainty. Musically, Duri stands out for its nostalgic tone and dynamic arrangement, showcasing Shreego’s growth as a songwriter and performer.

With his innate talent and a growing discography, Shreego is undeniably a rising star in the Nepali music industry, captivating audiences with his heartfelt lyrics, distinctive style, and unwavering passion.
