Born on July 4, 1995, in Kathmandu, Nepal, Swastima completed her School Leaving Certificate (SLC) from Birendra Sainik Awasiya Mahavidyalaya in Bhaktapur. She further pursued a three-year diploma in architectural engineering from Thapathali Campus.
