Early Life and Education
Born in Dhangadhi, Nepal, Reecha Sharma was raised in Kailali district. She later moved to Kathmandu to pursue her career in the entertainment industry.
Career
Reecha began her career as a video jockey and gained recognition as one of the top ten semi-finalists in the Miss Nepal 2007 pageant. She made her acting debut in the Nepali film “First Love” in 2010. Her performances in films like “Mero Love Story” (2011), “Highway” (2011), and the box office hit “Loot” (2012) established her as a talented actress in the industry. She continued to showcase her versatility in movies such as “Visa Girl” (2012) and the critically acclaimed “Talakjung vs Tulke” (2014). In addition to acting, Reecha has served as a judge on the Nepali comedy reality show “Comedy Champion.”
Personal Life
In December 2019, Reecha married Deepeksha Bikram Rana, the General Manager of Labim Mall in Lalitpur. The couple welcomed their first child, a son, in September 2021.
